There were times that I've wondered if my website is informative enough for my clients, or has enough examples of my work. Besides making my website look cohesive with my brand I always want to make sure that is easy to navigate and that my audience can find their way around it as easily as possible.
If you have wondered what things you could do to enhance your website in a way that helps your prospective clients, then read on!
1. Tell visitors what you do!
It might sound so basic but a lot of people skip this step just for the sake of prettiness. Well as I mentioned before you have 8 seconds to capture your visitor's attention so making them guess what it is you do will not help your business. Make sure shout out what you do as soon as possible so that your message, values, and mission is clear to everyone! The faster you connect with your audience the better!
2. Make sure your website is mobile responsive
There's no way around this. Nowadays almost a 50% of traffic is coming from mobile, you do need to make it easy for those users to navigate your website. If you make it difficult for them, then the possibilities of losing that prospective clients are HIGH. The easier the better. Make sure your website is mobile friendly and help your audience navigate your website and reach out to you to book a session or a consultation!
3. A good contact form
That's a given but you'd be surprised how many people don't have a decent contact form. In this case is not just for the user but for you as well! Why? Because it's a great way to learn more about that prospective client. What type of session or package are they interested in? Do they have a budget? Do you travel to their location? There are so many things you can learn from just asking the right questions. You don't want to make it super long but you still want to weed out those people that are just price shopping!
Now time to get to work! Go ahead and start implementing these three things and you will see some amazing changes take place!
